Clear Lake

This last weekend I went to Clear Lake with the fellas for some fishing. None of us had ever been to Clear Lake so we didn't know what to expect. Some people heard it was a party area while others heard it was a bass fishing paradise.

We rented a house that was right on the lake shore. It was so pimp. It was like a home in MTV's Real World or something. The house like it belonged on the coast of Mexico or somewhere tropical.

The lake was bigger than I expected and where we stayed and fished, there wasn't that much brush or reeds along the shore. It was mostly piers from all the homes lining the coast. We had trouble catching big fish since fishing from shore only allowed us to fish in shallow waters. The day we got the boat it was too late in the middle of day to really catch anything.

Anyway, we were still pretty excited to actually catch fish. Dust caught the most at around seven while Chris and I caught a couple each. I'm hooked on fishing again and want to go again soon!
