Hisashiburi...

Hello,

I've been Twittering a lot so I haven't been updating my blog in a long time. I think it's time for an update. (I wonder if there's a way to link Twitter to my blog in some way...)

What am I up to these days? Well, like I said in a previous post, I'm now working on the Godfather 2 game team. A pretty challenging task considering that the game is late in its cycle already. There's such a different dynamic and culture on this team compared to Dead Space. Don't know if it's going to be a smooth journey to final, but it will be an interesting one.

Next, I'm back in Japanese class. It's the 3rd semester and man, I'm really rusty and pretty much have no mastery of conjugations, nor any memory of the vocab. All that adds up to is: NOOB. And I really feel like it when I'm called upon in class to speak. I think I actually start sweating, haha. Well, in time it will get better. I just need to have a little more dedication to try to practice a little everyday.

Another thing - I went to the Outside Lands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park a couple weekends ago. That was a good time. I'm not even a Radiohead fan, but it was pretty much the best concert experience I've had. Maybe because I had a couple beers - but still. It was kind of hectic on the Friday. Crowds were migrating between stages and we got caught outside of the Radiohead crowd after trying to catch the tailend of Beck. Sunday was much more relaxed and even the music reflected that. Lots of dub, reggae, and Jack Johnson mellowed out the crowd and ended the weekend on a nice relaxed note.

Hmm.. Oh last weekend I went out with some friends in Sausalito. Turns out that my friend, Sean Castle, is good friends with the guitarist/bf of Sara Bareillis - and she was there hanging out with us. Cool! But the strange thing was that I didn't even know who she was before I met her.
