Annual Friends dinner at the Lugers

On Saturday, we had our annual friends dinner at the Luger residence.
It was tone for some prime rib again and this year it was especially
good. So tender an flavorful.

It was potluck so eveybody brought a dish. We had creamed corn, green
bean salad, crab dip, green bean salad, whipped potatoes, Yorkshire
pudding, and ended it all with red velvet cupcakes. What a feast! And
to have it with good friends made it extra fun.

Later was the white elephant gift exchange. Dawn and I made off with a
nice espresso cup set and some small square plates. I think we did
pretty good. What another great way to start off 2009.
