RIP Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson died today in Los Angeles. One of the Greatest Of All Time.

I still remember the days when I first heard Billie Jean. I also remember dancing to Billie Jean in my friend's backyard with cardboard on the lawn. Everyone tries to imitate him, but no one will duplicate him or his music. Rest in Peace MJ. We were lucky to grow up with your music.

Shotgun!

Haven't really updated this blog with anything besides pictures of Penny, but here's a little something I did that's new. I went shooting shotguns at clay pigeons and rabbits. It was fun! I don't really care much for guns, but sometimes it's fun to smell the gunpowder. It's a lot more difficult than you think. Here's a video of me (missing both shots in this one, I think).

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Especially to Dawn on
her first ever mother's day. We love you!

Penny visits Zippy's

I got my haircut at Zippy's last Friday and it was a chance for Kaoru
to meet Penny. Penny was in a good mood and threw her arms up in joy.
Okay maybe she just likes to stretch lately. She's funny.

I've been posting pictures on http://flickr.theminkz.com. I will be
posting more soon of when auntie Ann and uncle Hung cane to visit last
week.

We took Penny to the California Academy of Sciences. It's a cool place
but we didn't get to see the planetarium. We got there about thirty
minutes late on Free Wednesday and had to wait in line for almost two
hours. It was worth it though. Pictures to come!
